Can you believe they are making another installment to The Fast & Furious movie franchise? The upcoming Fast Five will be the fifth film over the past decade. The franchise fares well in the box office but hasn’t been met with much critical praise. But who needs critical praise when you have Hollywood blockbusters that clean up in 3-D without having to be actually good?

In this case, Fast Five features a pretty solid lineup with Vin Diesel and Paul Walker returning to the fray. Various others return to the film and reprise their previous roles such as Ludacris, Tyrese and Jordana Brewster. The big addition to the fifth film is Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson who looks to be a draw to those who may not have been interested in the previous films.

But do we really need another entry in this franchise? What else can they possibly do? Word is, this film falls chronologically in between the second and third films which I guess could work. But perhaps they’re beating a dead horse. Check out the trailer and you be the judge.
