Is Lil Wayne’s “6’7′” Really “A Milli” On Steroids?

This week saw the release of Lil Wayne‘s “6’7′” which features Cory Gunz. Mack Maine called the song “A Milli” on steroids. Considering how massive of a song “A Milli” was to begin with, could “6’7″” really be better?
The short answer is “Yes.”
What Lil Wayne gives you on “6’7′” is a lyrical exercise that runs circles around his competition. What appears to be a more clear and concise Lil Wayne steps in the booth and completely shreds the Beetlejuice sample manipulated in the Bangladesh production.

In the first verse alone Weezy delivers a vicious lyrical demonstration. But that’s a mere warmup for what Wayne offers in round 2.

Simply put, Wayne is on his “A” game with “6’7′.” If anyone ever doubted Weezy F. Baby’s talent on the mic, this will promptly shut them up. Coupled with a menacing beat by Bangladesh, this could certainly be Wayne’s next “A Milli.” But the steroids come in the form of the ridiculously talented Cory Gunz who simply menaces the beat with his wicked wordplay, rapid fire flows and distinct voice. Check the rhyme…

It’s not just what the son of Peter Gunz says, it’s how he says it.

wayne went in, and he been nice he just better on some tracks then others… now cory on the other hand that shit was wack I never liked dude and I can tell I never will
