The Year in Sneakers: Parra x Patta Nike Air Max 1

Submitted by on December 31, 2010 – 2:14 pm2 Comments

The brightest sneaker minds convened over the past week to discuss, debate, and classify, the top 10 sneakers of the year that was. The year 2010 marked another advancement in the sneaker industry, and the sneaker game proved once again it has the power to defy the persisting economic recession. Among the sneaker communities’ most vibrant constituents, the panelists included the venerable DJ Clark Kent, David Z Designer Ronnie Fieg, Jesse Villanueva of Alife, Joe la Puma at Complex, Nice Kicks founder Matt Halfhill, and sneaker connoisseur Mayor. The panel vigorously debated which kicks should be included in the top 10 as their individual styles were boiled down to the contrasting above and below Houston Street crew. The number one sneak of 2010 was a unanimous decision: The Parra x Patta Nike Air Max 1 took home top honors.
