I’m about to let you in on a little secret of mine: I sometimes wear men’s clothing.

Am I a tomboy? Hardly. I’m taking about grabbing a piece from his closet that can be worked into a seemingly effortless, feminine outfit. Check out three men’s items I’ve picked from DrJays.com and DJPremium.com, along with three ways us ladies can rock them:

THE CARDIGAN: OUTFIT #1

Stripe Sweater Cardigan by Brooklyn Basement

While many women’s brands have created the “boyfriend cardigan,” there’s nothing wrong with grabbing your real boyfriend’s cardigan, or a men’s style off our site like the one above. These roomy pieces look super cute when thrown over a pair of shorts and tights or even worn unbuttoned over a dress:

Mini Shorts by Doma

THE COMBAT BOOT: OUTFIT #2

Tall Fur-Lined Combat Boots by Jump

The combat boot is on fire this season, and you can cop the rugged yet polished look with a pair such as these (as long as you can find your size!). Wear them over skinny cargo pants, like the pair below, and no one will guess they were made for your male counterpart:

Skinny Cargo by Seven7 Jeans

THE DENIM SHIRT: OUTFIT #3

Denim Shirt by Scotch & Soda

Men’s button down shirts can look quite sexy when you show a little cleavage and cinch your waist with a good belt. Worn with anything from leggings to skirts, these shirts provide comfort and a laid-back swag in one package. Add these pieces to complete the look:

Double Wrap Belt by Diesel

Rio Jegging With Zippers by Paige Premium Denim
