Nike Air Force 1 Supreme “Year of the Rabbit”
The good folks at Nike Sportswear are definitely not strangers to the Chinese Lunar calendar. For the 10th year running, they’ve released an extremely limited, China-exclusive version of their coveted Air Force 1 Supreme. Within the last decade, Nike has given a nod to the animal honored in conjunction with the Chinese New Year. As you may have surmised from the title, this year’s animal is the rabbit, and the Air Forces sport a number of premium upgrades.
Premium leather covers the body of the kick, which includes waxed leather laces and a 2011 dubray. The next marked difference between these Forces and the stock colors is the mismatching medial and lateral swoosh. Red and blue alternate in a furry, varsity jacket material which is sure to be as coveted here in the States as it is overseas. The kicks are a China exclusive, so start calling in your favors to the People’s Republic. Bear in mind (before you pick up that rotary dial), these will retail for close to $400. Happy hunting.
