New Music: Diddy, Ludacris, DJ Khaled, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, T-Pain, Plies
Diddy featuring Ludacris: “Tomorrow Tonight”
This was left off of Diddy’s Last Train To Paris album for a reason. I like Diddy’s and Ludacris’ music independently, but just like you wouldn’t mix Diddy’s Ciroc vodka and Ludacris’ Conjure cognac, these two do not mix well on this track. I don’t want to hear this again today, tonight, tomorrow or ever.
DJ Khaled featuring Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, Plies, T-Pain: “Welcome To My Hood”
The track should definitely get major play, but it sounds like “I’m So Hood.” Nothing excites me about various rappers coming together on a track anymore, especially a Khaled track.
Missy Elliott featuring Timbaland: “Take Your Clothes Off”
As part of Timbaland’s “Timbaland Thursday” music giveaways, this banger is a certified smash and serves as a reminder that this duo makes hits. If Missy comes back with tracks like these, she can definitely give ole’ girl Nicki Minaj a run for her money. Foxy who? Kim what?
