It’s called progression. Get with it or get left behind. Erika Badu sounds like one of them old fohgies… “Back in my day, we used to play music with a shoestring tied to a block of wood, and we had to love it!” Music evolves, it changes, it revolutionizes itself every few years. So she’s going to turn down the possible millions she could make because she’s stuck on how things used to be? She’ll be back in 10 years with electro-pop remixes of her music when everyone has forgotten who she is.
