Nike Basketball, Kobe Bryant, and aeuteur director Robert Rodriguez have teamed up to make a short film dubbed The Black Mamba. Rodriguez has a cult following stemming from his gore flicks Grindhouse and Machete, and Kobe Bryant is well Kobe Bryant. With Nike Basketball at the helm and presumably the financier, one can imagine there’s a heavy dose of the snake-scaled, polyurethane-covered Nike Zoom Kobe VI. The details are still very hazy, but the prospect of a Kobe Bryant action flick quarterbacked by Rob Rodriguez is awe inspiring—enjoy.
