Anne Hathaway To Play Catwoman In The Dark Knight Rises
After much speculation and rumors running wild, Anne Hathaway has been cast to play Catwoman in the upcoming Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises. She will be working alongside Christian Bale, who’s been cast as Batman. The Dark Knight Rises is the sequel to the box-office hit, The Dark Knight, which starred late actor Heath Ledger. Warner Bros. Pictures announced today today Anne Hathaway has been cast as Selina Kyle in Christopher Nolan‘s The Dark Knight Rises. She will be starring alongside Christian Bale, who returns in the title role of Bruce Wayne/Batman.
Christopher Nolan stated, “I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Anne Hathaway, who will be a fantastic addition to our ensemble as we complete our story.”In addition, Tom Hardy has been set to play Bane. Nolan said, “I am delighted to be working with Tom again and excited to watch him bring to life our new interpretation of one of Batman’s most formidable enemies.”

Selina Kyle, not Catwomen!
I love her but i dont see her as catwoman type,but then again christopher nolan can make anything happen,plus make anything look real.So i hope he does catwoman justice as for i am a hugeeee fan of her story n character and may say Michelle Pfhiffers interpretation of selina kyle still is till this day the best and most one of a kind performance. <3 her
OMG! I am so excited about this. I love Anne Hathaway and I know that she will do great! This will be nothing like the shitty Catwoman Halle Berry was! Christopher Nolan is going to do brilliant with Anne! I hope Catwoman will be as psychotic as she is portrayed in the comic books and tv series – kind of like how Heath was so amazing as the Joker.
People. Pay attention to the news release already. It’s carefully worded. She’s signed to play Selina Kyle. No mention of Catwoman. I wager we won’t see that villain in this version, except maybe at the end to mark a teaser to the continuation of the story. Nolan’s last? I doubt it.
all the rumor mills and news releases leading up to TDK said Harvey Dent, never said two face, because he didnt become two face until close to the end, i bet we see the same thing happen with ms. kyle

I am really looking to how Hathaway with portray Catwoman if she is Catwoman and not just her alter ego Selina Kyle also how hardy will portray bane maybe we will see Batmans back broken I highly doubt it but it is Christopher Nolan anything is possible he did a great job turning heath ledger into the joker lets see what happens
