Does Gabriel Go Crazy When Nahla Is Called Black?
Now this sh*t is getting damn ridiculous! Everyday, a new bit of drama emerges in the press about the custody battle between Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry, but this takes the cake. Reportedly, Gabriel goes straight bonkers whenever someone refers to his 2-year-old daughter with the Oscar winning actress as black. “Sources” told TMZ:
“…Whenever Gabriel would read a story about Nahla that referred to her as ‘black,’ he would go off, insisting his baby was white. We’re told Gabriel would tell Halle and others they should demand a ‘retraction’ when such references were made regarding his daughter.”
SMH…I haven’t seen this much mudslinging since the last presidential election! I’m not even going to go to deep into the veracity of this latest accusation (by the way, I’m from the south, and as far as I’m concerned, one drop of black blood makes you BLACK!), but I will say Halle and Gabriel need to quell this nasty back-and-forth because little Nahla isn’t going to be a baby forever. I imagine when she’s one day able to read about the ugliness that occurred between her mommy and daddy, she’ll never look at them the same again.

I’m from the south too and you should know the one drop rule is a part of the Jim Crow law. So, I guess you think we ain’t good enough to piss in the same bathroom with White people either. Its stupid as fuck for Black folks to even repeat that bullshit.

Whether you want to subscribe to Jim Crow laws or not, what would you call a person who has “Black blood” in them? WOuld you call them White? If so, who’s fooling who? Maybe you’re in denial, want to be White yourself, or have some other kind of problemm. You should check yourself. The best that you can get out of the mix would be bi-racial, but, it certainly is not white. And, for your information, White people wouldn’t call them White either, so let’s not be foolish here.
