Prince Gets Eric Benet Disinvited

Watch your back if you’re engaged to one of Prince’s ex-wives. Eric Benet learned that the hard way last week when Prince used his influence to have him disinvited to the Essence Black Women in Music pre-Grammy event in Hollywood. Benet’s currently engaged to Manuela Testolini, who was married to the purple one from 2001 to 2006. According to Page Six:
“Benet, who was married to Halle Berry, was disinvited once Prince was expected as a special guest. Organizers believed it was because Prince didn’t want to be in the company of his ex.”
If I had that much pull, I’d be getting people disinvited to events left and right. A little wishful thinking on my part…
