Drake’s Air Jordan XI Concord “45″
Pictures surfaced a short while ago of hip-hop impresario Drake and his impressive sneaker collection which is ripe with Air Jordans. Along with numerous pairs of rare Air was one in particular which stoked the sneaker conversation immediately. Drake held in his hand for the sneaker fearing world to see, a pair of Air Jordan XI Concords. On their own these are a classic, the first Jordan to make use of patent leather—they’re fondly remembered as the “tuxedo Jordan.” There was one marked difference between Drake’s pair and the average retro or even OG afficiondos. Drake’s pair featured the number “45″ on the back in place of the vertically stacked deuce-trey. Comment boxes quickly filled with wonder and amazement and questions as to whether these would be released. Unfortunately, there is still no word from Brand Jordan or the Nike camp, but we can cross our fingers and hope.

this is really cool
The jumpman doesn’t look right. I’ll stick to the duece-tré Air Jordan 11s.
