Kobe Bryant In The Black Mamba Directed By Robert Rodriguez
After claiming All-Star Game MVP accolades, now is the perfect time to soak up another five-and-a-half more minutes of Kobe Bryant. The film below is directed by auteur Robert Rodriguez and stars the likes of Danny Trejo, Bruce Willis, and of course “The Boss” as he’s referred to in the flick, Kanye West. The Black Mamba is pitted against a litany of The Boss’ henchmen who are in a quest to beat the Mamba and emasculate him by swiping his Nike Zoom Kobe VIs. In essence, this is one long Nike Kobe VI commercial paid for by Nike and starring Kobe—but it turns out to be much more. Ripe with explosions and bleeped out curses, one walks away wishing this were a full-length feature film. For all you sneaker freakers out there, get your freeze frame on at the 4:58 mark for a brief and blurry look at the Nike Air Yeezys.
