Countdown To Lockdown: Ja Rule To Film Pre-Prison Reality TV Show
Following in the footsteps of fellow rapper Lil’ Kim, hip-hop’s own Ja Rule is set to film a reality show. He’s surrendering to police in March to begin his two-and-a-half year sentence but before he starts his bid, he’s going to let cameras into his world for an intimate view of his personal life and the drama he goes through while preparing to serve time.
“My reality show, I like it because it’s showing a strong black family going through a tough time,” Ja Rule said. “And how we band together as a family and how my wife and kids, my moms and her moms, bond together during this tough time when I have to go in.”
The show has yet to be titled but Ja says, ”It’s really a good show and it shows black love in a good way.”
No word on what channel the show will be airing.
