Is Lil’ Wayne Reinventing The Remix?
Since Lil’ Wayne‘s been out of jail, the Young Money front man’s been going hard with new music. Wayne’s known for getting on other people’s tracks, often outshining them on their own songs, so it’s not shocking—but always impressive—when Weezy remixes one of today’s hits. All of Weezy’s work has got us to thinking: Is he reinventing the remix? Take a listen to some of the hits Weezy has “Wee-mixed”:
Birdman featuring Lil’ Wayne: “Fire Flame” (Remix)
Mary J. Blige featuring Diddy, Lil’ Wayne: “Someone To Love Me” (Remix)
Nicki Minaj featuring Lil’ Wayne: “Roman’s Revenge” (Remix)
Ace Hood featuring Rick Ross, Lil’ Wayne: “Hustle Hard” (Remix)
Mike Posner featuring Lil’ Wayne: “Bow Chicka Wow Wow” (Remix)
Lil’ Wayne: “Green & Yellow” (“Black & Yellow” Freestyle)
Bruno Mars featuring Lil’ Wayne: “Grenade” (Remix)
Short Dawg featuring Lil’ Wayne: “Money In My Pocket” (Remix)

Sick, I’ll be sharing these sick “wee-mixes”
