Is Da Brat A Totally Free Woman?
If Jermaine Dupri’s Twitter page is to be believed, then his close friend, Da Brat, is 100% a free woman! At some point yesterday afternoon, JD Tweeted:
“Happy day for me and all SO SO DEF fans, Da BRAT is finally home”
Back in 2008, Da Brat was sentenced to three years in prison for striking a woman with a rum bottle during an altercation at an Atlanta nightclub in 2007. Last May, the Chicago born femcee participated in a work-release program that allowed her to go from her cell to a nine-to-five job making windows. Speaking on her situation at the time, Da Brat said:
”I’m out on a lil’ pass; I had to do some lawyer, attorney stuff, I got a job. I work a 9 to 5 because I’m in the work release program. I make windows, so if ya’ll need a window, holla at your girl.”
