MTV2 has started airing throwback episodes of Martin Lawrence‘s hit 1990s sitcom Martin on weekday mornings and we are completely excited. We are huge Martin fans and if it were up to some of us, we’d watch Martin all day, every day. But we aren’t Martin‘s only fan—Arizona Cardinals player Kerry Rhodes keeps the show on repeat as well.

“The show was ahead of its time and it’s still one of the few shows that could still be good at this moment in time. I like the ‘DMV’ episode, it’s a dark horse! And I can name every episode” he says.

In honor of the Martin‘s continuing comeback to television, we’ve compiled the best of the classic episodes, including the “DMV” episode Kerry so dearly loves. This post was tough—there are so many memorable moments it’s hard to decide. From Gina, Pam, Tommy and Cole, to Martin’s roles as Sheneneh Jenkins, Jerome, Dragonfly Jones, Bruh Man and Otis the security guard, the sitcom is chock full of memorable characters and moments. Take a look at the favorite episodes below:

“DMV Blues”

In an attempt to get his license renewed, Martin takes a trip down to the DMV to take care of business. Of course, he runs into various characters and problems while handling his errands. Truly one of Martin’s funniest moments.

“Control”

When Gina accidentally throws out Martin’s tickets to a basketball game, there is only one person who can help her—their next door neighbor Sheneneh. Gina attempts to get the tickets, but Sheneneh will only give them to Gina if she works in her salon for the day. Gina agrees and heads to work for Sheneneh with hilarious results.
