Ladies across the world celebrated the 100th anniversary of International Women’s Day yesterday, with events marking the economic, political and social achievements of women.

I hosted a special event at Carol’s Daughter‘s flagship store in Harlem to pay homage to the hard-working women in the media, fashion and entertainment industries. With the store providing complimentary manicures and discounted product plus an open bar by Hennessy Black, mouth-watering cupcakes by Get ‘Em Girls and music by Hot 97′s DJ Jazzy Joyce, it was indeed an affair to pay tribute to the fly girls of New York City.
