Nike Sportswear continues to delve into the platitudes in terms of creative collaborations as part of their lifestyle ethos. The slightly avant-garde and sophisticated off shoot or regular old Nike tends to skew more toward the fitted and fashionable and their taking it one step forward with their Liberty Collection. The Liberty x Nike Sportswear 2011 Summer Collection pits Nike against British high fashion with a number of classic silhouettes retrofitted with art-house patterns. The Dunk, Air Force 1s and Blazer are all rendered artistically in this collaboration that is sure to catch the eye of sneakerheads and art buffs alike. You’ll definitely want to peruse all the pictures in this one and pick out a prized pair. The collection is set to drop April 1, but the release is rumored to be extremely limited, so get on the wire early and try to track these down. For those joining from the land of Kings and Queens, these will be available at Liberty of London.
