The new VH1 reality series “Love & Hip-Hop” is dominating Monday night with its extravagance and drama. Starring Jim Jones’ longtime girlfriend Chrissy Lampkin, Fabolous‘ son’s mother Emily Bustamante, aspiring rapper Somaya Reece, and R&B diva Olivia Longott, the show details the lives of all four women as they enjoy the benefits of living the hip-hop lifestyle while trying to avoid the pitfalls of the industry. Although we can expect many twists and turns on the show, one of the most headline grabbing plotlines so far has been the feud that pits Olivia and Chrissy against Somaya Reece. Recently, I spoke to both Olivia and Somaya, and judging by what each of them had to say, we’re in for one helluva ride on “Love & Hip-Hop.” Check out some of the highlights:

OLIVIA ON HER ISSUES WITH SOMAYA REECE:

“She’s one of those people who does things for shock value and when she realizes what she’s done, she tries to take it back and act like nothing happened, and she wants to be your friend and apologizing. And I don’t do that; if I don’t rock with you, I don’t rock with you, period. I don’t do nothing for the camera…so if she’s going to act like that and try to take it back afterwards, you look crazy.”

ON WHETHER SHE THINKS SOMAYA REECE IS TWO-FACED:

“Oh yes, she very much is, and she does the same thing with Chrissy. That’s how everything really started – she was mad at Chrissy, Chrissy and I are friends, so obviously, I have Chrissy’s back, and obviously, I’m in the situation because I’m her friend. So she gets upset, and it’s petty.”

SOMAYA REECE ON HER NOW INFAMOUS CLAIM THAT OLIVIA RAN INTO A SECURITY VAN TO GET AWAY FROM HER:

“I talked gangsta to her face, and she ran into a security van; you can definitely post that. And that’s what that came down to. You’re going to see it on the episode. I wasn’t lying about it, it’s the truth; it’s what happened. Ask Emily, ask Chrissy, ask anybody. They tried to get her out of the van, and she refused to come out.”

ON OLIVIA THINKING SHE’S TWO-FACED:

“She never got a chance to get to know me. That’s the problem; everybody is going to forever be confused about that because she never…we never got a chance to get to know each other, ever. So it’s always going to be what she feels and what I feel. I personally am a welcoming person. I’m whatever; I’m out here making my money. I have nothing negative going on in my life; there’s nothing really negative I even have to say about any of them.”

But their ongoing beef isn’t the only thing these ladies have going for them. During our chat, Olivia also dished on her relationship with her former label head 50 Cent, her new album, and her thoughts on the relationship between Emily and Fabolous, while Somaya spoke on her mission for female empowerment.
