Chris Brown Receives Frosty Welcome From Cast Of Dancing With The Stars

Although Chris Brown’s appearance on Tuesday night’s edition of Dancing With The Stars was the most talked about performance on the celebrity dance fest so far this season, the “Deuces” singer didn’t exactly receive a hero’s welcome from the cast backstage. According to CelebDirtyLaundry.com, an insider said:

“Usually when a big star comes in to sing, the entire cast is excited to meet them and spend the day together at rehearsals. With Chris, no one wanted to be around when he rehearsed.”

For longtime DWTS cast member Cheryl Burke, the decision to openly express her disdain for Breezy’s appearance on the show was motivated by her own experience as a victim of domestic violence. She said:

“As a victim of domestic violence, I don’t agree with him coming on the show, but it’s out of my control.”

As for how the cast felt about ABC’s decision to allow Breezy to perform on the show despite his very public meltdown at Good Morning America just last week, the insider said:

“No one wanted anything to do with him. Most of the cast think it’s disgraceful that ABC invited him on in the first place, but after he smashed a window backstage at Good Morning America, almost everyone participating in the competition thought he should have been canceled.”

Despite the frosty welcome, Breezy went on to give a heck of a performance, and that’s a lot coming from me because I think he still has a ways to go in completely redeeming himself from his behavior (back off Team Breezy, I’m entitled to my opinion). Anyway, check out one of his performance on DWTS in the video below:

Shaun Robinson said on Access Hollywood yesterday that Popeater’s started that rumor and she was there backstage and didn’t see anything like that happen. She said the rumor was false.

This story is entirely false but it doesn’t matter what the cast thought, did you see/hear the audience and how they were thru out both of his sets? they were on their feet the entire time and the standing ovation he received at the end of his performance, that’s what counts. Chris Brown delivered two high energy flawlessly delivered performances and the crowd loved it. I tuned in just to see him perform and I was not disappointed. Excellent job Breezy!

FAME in stores now…go get it
