Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke By Paul Nguyen

A “nuclear medicine technician” might not be your first guess for occupation of the pictured Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke, but it is the right guess. Paul Nguyen, an avid sneakerphile, jumped at the chance to drop a total of $1700 on two pairs of bespoken Nike Air Force 1s. The first pair makes use of a gum bottom accented with purple denim and a white midsole. The kick is given an all together clean aesthetic with a khaki denim coating off-set by a hardwood Nike swoosh. As is customary with all Bespoke pairs of Air Forces, the kick comes with a custom dubray—those are lace tags for those not on the up and up with sneaker vernacular—and a pair of custom shoetrees. The second pair that Paul designed is a special surprise for his wedding, and you can bet he’ll have done well to outshine his groomsmen. Is $850 too much to spend on a pair of custom Nike’s? As soon as they start allowing for custom Nike Blazers, this blogger is going to be out close to a cool grand.
