EXCLUSIVE: Fat Joe, The Game, Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes, T-Pain & More Perform In Sydney
Tonight in Sydney, a one-off side show to Australia’s currently touring mega urban festival Supafest featuring two of the event’s bigger acts—Nelly and Snoop Dogg—turned into the biggest on-stage hip-hop lineup Australia and probably the world has ever seen.
Nelly kicked off the show with a great one-hour performance covering hits from “Country Grammar” to his Australian number one hit, “Just A Dream.” The rapper and his Lunatics crew got the crowd hyped up for what came next—an unexpected collaboration with Snoop Dogg, T-Pain, The Game, Busta Rhymes and Fat Joe (who I snapped a quick pic with)—at the same time! T-Pain’s definitely not one to shy from the spotlight, as he took over Snoop’s show and hilariously made it all about himself. Snoop ended up chilling side stage when The Game came on; they performed “Dream” and brought all of the rappers on stage which definitely was a highlight of the night. Everyone seemed so relaxed and happy to be feeling the love Down Under; definitely was a moment myself and other Aussies in attendance will never forget.
Supafest (featuring the aforementioned acts plus Keri Hilson, New Boyz, Ciara, Bow Wow, Taio Cruz and more) kicks off in Sydney tomorrow at ANZ Stadium then hits Perth, Brisbane and Melbourne.
