At the recent Noisemakers event in New York City, the talk of the town was the fact that Phonte and 9th Wonder would reunite for the first time in years since the split of Little Brother. While that was a monumental moment in hip-hop, what was also attention-grabbing was host Peter Rosenberg‘s line of questioning. Rosenberg inquired about the dreaded “n-word” and its usage, which is interesting because Phonte is know to throw an n-bomb with the frequency of a Call of Duty “all grenades” team death match.
