People are beginning to wonder just who wears the pants in Usher’s relationship with his 43-year-old girlfriend, Grace Miguel, after a rumor recently emerged that the former Def Jam executive is laying down the law and directing Usher to give members of his team the boot. According to Page Six, Miguel, who co-manages the R&B superstar, is “urging her beau to clear out his staff including stylists, choreographers and tour managers and replace them with her people.”

Reportedly, Mark Cheatham, a CAA agent who’s worked with Usher for years, was the first to be given the boot. An insider told Page Six:

“Mark is really upset. He’s been with him from the beginning. He thinks Usher will come back, He’s just waiting.”

Apparently, Miguel’s control over Usher is so powerful that, according to another insider, the “OMG” singer “will do whatever she wants him do right now.”

It wouldn’t be the first time Usher’s allowed himself to be under the control of an older woman. Back in 2007, Usher fired his mom, Jonetta Patton, as his manager because he was allegedly under pressure from his then-fiancée, Tameka Foster, to let Patton go because the two women did not get along. SMH, I’m going to need dude to somehow get a backbone…not to mention a set of balls. I’m just saying…
