With Cannabis Independence Day—better known as 4/20 approaching—Nike has gone to a classic comedic duo for inspiration on their latest Nike SB Dunk High. Prolific duo Cheech & Chong serve as inspiration for the Nike SB and a few of their calling cards are located on the outside and inside of the kick. The silver screen doobie brothers had a penchant for marijuana which is represented through the alternate green laces that come with the kicks and the “spare change” pouch located on the sneak’s interior. The most recognizable tip to the two characters, however, comes in the form of a paisley bandana pattern located on the heel tab of the left sneaker. These kicks are sure to be a hit among arboreal enthusiasts and abstainers alike. They are set to drop on 4/20, so set a reminder now so as to not forget in a fit of Captain Crunch munchies.
