Earlier this week it seemed like Tony Allen, the Memphis Grizzlies designated defensive stopper, was trying to get the Internet goin’ nutz (© Paul Wall) when he accused San Antonio Spurs guard Manu Ginobili of faking his elbow injury. Players rarely comment on opposing players’ injuries, and it seemed like a calculated move to draw attention to the Spurs-Grizzlies first-round playoff series. All it really created though was a minor ripple in the blogosphere.

Turns out, if Allen really wanted to get people flapping their virtual gums, all he had to do was get a haircut. One that featured a glitter-enhanced grizzly bear (actually the Memphis Grizzlies logo) shaved into the back of his head. Unfortunately, he had it shaved off before he could rock it on the court.
