Brand Jordan isn’t accustomed to missteps. Whether it be selecting talent to represent their brand, or updating classic colorways, the brand is just not used to coming up short. The only instance in recent memory in which the brand employed some questionable tactics was on their Jordan x Nike fusion line where an iconic member of the numbered Air Jordan line was fused with the Nike Air Force 1. The line was celebrated among a select few, but was deemed a financial snafu when almost every pair hit the outlet racks.

Jordan has learned from their misstep and created an updated version of the Air Jordan 2 which retains all of the classic beauty and styling of the original. The Air Jordan 2.0 bears all the classic markings of the celebrated Air Jordan 2 with an updated full length air-sole unit on bottom. The colorway remains the same and for all intents and purposes the shoe is the same except for a handsomely crafted full-length air unit affixed to the bottom. Brand Jordan stayed within the color-blocked confines of the original Air Jordan 2 and tinted the air unit in red to compliment the accent colors used on the piping, heel tab and logo. These puppies will hit retailers on June 4, priced at 160 clams.
