Ciara’s courtside presence at several of the New York Knicks basketball games over the last few months had many wondering about her sudden interest in the team. The mystery was pretty much solved after the singer (if we can still call her that) was spotted out and about in NYC on the arm of Knicks power forward, Amar’e Stoudemire, on more than one occasion. Nevertheless, the duo’s relationship was purely speculation since neither one had confirmed it—until now. In a recent interview, Ci Ci took the first step in going public with the blossoming romance by acknowledging the two are a couple. According to HipHollywood’s Kevin Frazier:

“Just interviewed Ciara and she admitted that she and Amare are indeed a couple. She was very shy about it and said, ‘you know I don’t talk about my personal life,’ but when I pushed she shook her head laughed and said yes they are a couple. She added that this is a very happy time in her life and that she is really enjoying herself! She and Amare were snapped at a party after the Met Gala last night.”

Ci Ci, girl, I hope this doesn’t come back and bite you in the ass by turning out to be an Olivia/Darrelle Revis situation. My mama always says, “don’t claim him until he claims you,” especially them ballers because you know how they do.
