Sneaker Freak: Baltimore Orioles’ Jeremy Guthrie’s Shoe Vault

While I’m no stranger to sneakerheads and currently type this from a room with a sneaker display case present, Baltimore Orioles pitcher Jeremy Guthrie has set the bar pretty high. Along with the perks of being a young man with millions of dollars at your disposal is the ability to completely customize your home, which is exactly what Guthrie did. He turned a pedestrian shoe-closet into a conversation piece by adding a maximum security, bank-certified, bolt-locked door. While some may discount Guthrie’s sneaker vault as frivolous, from a brief, blurry twit-pic, it seems almost justifiable. Within view are boxes upon boxes of Air Jordan including a pair of Concord XIs, True Blue IIIs, and the coup de grace, a pair of extremely rare McFly HyperDunks. Have a look at sneaker Fort Knox, and start practicing that knuckle curve.
