Are You Ready To Play GagaVille?

Submitted by on May 10, 2011 – 4:27 pm2 Comments

When Lady Gaga joined games giant Zynga in March for a Japanese earthquake relief effort, industry buzz started regarding a potential collaboration for a much lighter joint endeavor. Welcome to GagaVille, a “neighboring farm” that’s an offshoot of über-successful game FarmVille.

Featuring “unicorns and crystals” and launching on May 17, Mashable.com reports GagaVille visitors will get a first listen to unreleased songs from the pop star’s new album Born This Way, available May 23. The full album will also come bundled as a free download when you buy a $25 Zynga game card at Best Buy.

That’s not all. Zynga’s Words With Friends mobile game will feature a “Words With Gaga” contest as part of the deal, where playing the designated “Gaga word of the day”—announced on Gaga’s Facebook Page each day—will give players the chance to win concert tickets and a signed copy of Born This Way.
