So apparently we’re still talking about Common being invited to the White House by Michelle Obama to take part in her White House Music Series. As you may know, the right wingers and Fox News have taken the Obamas to task for inviting a supporter of an alleged cop killer. The individual we are referring to is Assata Shakur and Common’s song “A Song For Assata.” After finally admitting that Common is far from a gangster rapper, Fox is trying to save face in the situation by emphasizing the fact that Shakur is a convicted cop killer and the Obamas shouldn’t support a rapper who supports her. After Jon Stewart put his proverbial foot in the ass of conservative media, good ol’ Bill O’Reilly has struck back at Stewart and wants to challenge him to a debate. We’re all for that. All we need is Cam’ron to hit O’Reilly with the “You maaaaaaaaaad” and we’re ready to go.
