Nike Zoom Kobe VI “FC Barcelona” Pack
It’s no secret that Kobe Bryant is an avid futbol fanatic, note the spelling. He first concepted his low-top signature line of kicks after seeing soccer players make the same movements on the pitch as he does on the hardwood, all the while sporting low-cut lightweight boots. Now the Nike Kobe VI will bear the colors of one of the most storied futbol clubs of all time, Barcelona. Futbol Club Barcelona, or FC Barcelona as they’re known for short has two distinct color-blocked jerseys, both of which are transposed onto the Kobe VI.
The first pair takes on the home colorway which sports a blue base interspersed with red, and accented with yellow. All of the technical aspects of the Kobe VI remain, but the interior is swagged out with an alternating striped pattern which matches up with the FCB jersey. Also on the interior is the team crest which pays tribute to their home country of Spain. The second pair takes on the same design aesthetic, but uses the away jersey as inspiration donning bright orange over black. Unfortunately, these are a European exclusive, so unless you’ve got an overseas connect, you’ll be like me fending of the reseller sharks for a fair shake.
