The Billboard Music Awards Best & Worst Dressed
Last night the 2011 Billboard Music Awards went down in sunny Las Vegas, and among the gossip about Britney Spears lip syncing, we had our eyes on our favorite celebs’ red carpet looks.
Check out who we deem the best and worst dressed of this event:
Trey Songz kept it casual with his black and white ensemble, but the textured blazer added that extra bit of sexy to his clean look.
The envy of many Bieber fans, Selena Gomez went for a black cut-out dress by Dolce & Gabana and cute red heels with bows.
Kelly Rowland may have picked a simple HervéLeger dress, but that pop pink color works wonders. Paired with her gorgeous makeup, she looked like a hot summer treat.
The cut of Beyonce‘s long sleeve Lanvin dress does all the talking as it hugs her curves appropriately. It’s not as fun as her performance getup, but she keeps it classy as usual.
In a rare red carpet appearance, Nas kept it subtle with a neutral, graphic-free ensemble. I wouldn’t have picked such bright white kicks for this, but he still looks fly.
Keri Hilson looks beautiful here, no doubt, but there’s too much going on here with the dress’s bold yellow shade, puffy sleeves and aqua belt. How hot would this have looked if she chopped off the sleeves of this number?
While her bodysuit (by Mark Fast) doesn’t surprise us, the combo of it with the white Versace shoes, light pink wig and unflattering frosty pink lipstick makes Nicki Minaj‘s look scream “cheap”—even though it sure as hell ain’t!
Taylor Swift appeared overdressed and washed out in this glittery nude/silver long dress by Elie Saub. She could have opted for something a tad spunkier for the evening.
While this photograph is a stunner, Rihanna‘s relaxed Max Azria white suit didn’t always look so flattering during the night. When she was accepting her award and moving around, all of the fabric drowned her out. Perhaps it would have helped if one part of this outfit was fitted—maybe skinny white pants would have complemented the boyfriend blazer look better.
We have no beef with Ne-Yo‘s suit, but those sharp black and white shoes throw off the look. And while we know Ne-Yo loves his hats, he should have opted for his usual fedora here instead of the Yankees fitted. He just looks awkward.
