Scotty McCreery Wins Season 10 Of American Idol

So this kid named Scotty McCreery won season 10 of American Idol, beating out contestant Lauren Alaina. Both are country music artists and 122 million people cast votes last night to determine who would (hopefully) be the next Carrie Underwood, Clay Aiken or Kelly Clarkson. If you are a country music fan then you must be super excited for this win.

Scotty singing “Always On My Mind.”

Like dueling banjos, here are Lauren and Scotty performing “Up On The Roof.” This lackluster performance will have you wondering how the hell the contest came down to these two members of Dullsville. Were people deaf this year?

Even though she didn’t win, check out this video of Idol contestant Haley Reinhart singing an unreleased Lady Gaga song titled “You and I.”

There’s always one polarizing contestant and this year it was Pia Toscano. Here’s her performance of “Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me.” Is it just me, or is she way better than Scotty and Lauren? Just saying. Should Pia have won?

Now on to the really important people: the judges. Here is Idol judge and Aerosmith lead singer Steven Tyler doing what he does best (besides hitting on hot female contestants). Enjoy “Dream On.”

Jennifer Lopez (we know, we know: J.Lo) breaks it down with her super talented husband Marc Anthony. Man, J.Lo can shake her butt. Not mention, no one plays drums like the super hot Sheila E.

I’ve come to love when major pop stars do their thing on American Idol. Here’s Lady Gaga bringing down the house with “Edge Of Glory.” Thank you, Mother Monster.

Jack Black shows Casey Abrams how to perform “Fat Bottomed Girls.”
