As we previously told you, the latest news from the attention loving Kardashian family is Kim Kardashian’s engagement to NBA baller, Kris Humphries. Earlier this month, the New Jersey Nets star presented Kimmy with a 20.5-carat stunner after a brief six-month courtship. Although I’m happy whenever someone finds love in this cold, harsh world, there’s a part of me that thinks the prospects of these two making it down the aisle are about as real as the 18-inch 1B yaki perm hair hanging down my back. Evidently, I’m not alone in my uncertainty as another member of the reality TV clan, Rob Kardashian, shares my doubts. During a recent interview, Kimmy’s little brother was asked whether or not he thought a wedding would actually take place, to which he responded:

“I just don’t feel confident because Kim has always been so like, you know, she’s, how old? She’s just been through a lot of relationships and she always gets hurt or never finds the right dude, but Kris is a really good dude. They’ve had their own personal, private relationship a long time now and I feel like they are a really good match for each other.” (Hollywood 5)

Nice save at the end there, Rob. Apparently, even the engagement announcement was unbelievable, because according to Rob, everyone thought it was a joke when Kimmy announced her plans to jump the broom to the family. He said:

“We were having a family dinner and we didn’t know what it was for, we just thought everyone was in town, we were at my mom’s. She had a ring on and we didn’t believe her and we thought it was a joke, no one really, like, did anything, and it was like, oh wait, then it got crazy and there were ponies, it was really bizarre!” (Hollywood 5)

Blank stare. Ponies??? If these two actually exchange “I do’s,” I really hope they elope because this thing is shaping up to be a bigger spectacle than the Star Jones/Al Reynolds wedding fiasco.
