Last month when Rihanna curiously started following her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown on Twitter and he returned the favor, her fans immediately noticed and erupted with shock and anger, prompting Ri Ri to lash out with tweets like, “Its f***in twitter, not the alter! Calm down.” Now rumors are swirling the dysfunctional pair are taking steps to reunite again (what happens in DM, stays in DM?)
According to popular Atlanta-based celebrity photographer Freddy O, the twosome have started to see each other again and their mutual friends are in on it. A source says:
“Ri-Ri’s always loved Chris—that never changed. They’ve texted and Skyped each other a lot recently and met up at a mutual friend’s house in Los Angeles after the restraining order expired.
“Chris has said he’ll be as patient as she needs him to be but after being slammed on Twitter for just following him, she’s begun to worry that they may never get to be together in public.”
While details are very sketchy at this stage, Rihanna’s fans are certainly not happy. “I never thought you would go back to him!” one follower named @iStan4Rihanna wrote to the star on Twitter. “You better not, its your life but you do have ppl that look up to you. e.g young girls.”
But as iVillage reports, the Bajan beauty’s “navy” should be prepared for a potentially serious reconciliation between her and Brown. In February Rihanna agreed to lift her restraining order against Brown so they could both attend industry events without complications. She somewhat backtracked the next month, saying “It doesn’t mean we’re gonna make up, or even talk again. We don’t have to talk ever again in my life.” That remains to be seen.
In related news, Rihanna’s new visuals for her latest single “Man Down” are causing all sorts of commotion, as they depict her shooting and killing a former flame who’s assaulted her. Industry insiders like Paul Porter, a former BET programmer, even commented: “If Chris Brown shot a woman in his new video and BET premiered it, the world would stop. Rihanna should not get a pass and BET should know better. The video is far from broadcast-worthy.”
Frist off the video man down is someone who raped her not an old flame. I really don’t care for Rihanna or her music. I believe she like controversy and will do just about anything for it. This is just another thing to gather up sales for her music. She knows Beyonce is coming back and Everyone is the whole World loves Beyonce. So she feel threaten.
