It seems as of late the Nike SB studio has saved its most intriguing design for one particular silhouette, the Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski. With an existing boat-shoe-inspired aesthetic, the Janoski lends itself perfectly to simple textured designs. The Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski “Woodgrain” keeps things simple with a wood-inspired upper juxtaposed against the standard vulcanized mid-sole. The Nike design kitchen didn’t stop at a wood-grain pattern, but rather gave the kick a subtle texure to actually make the upper appear as if it were comprised of wood. The swoosh and leather laces are also given a dark-brown earth tone to match up with the wooden design conceit, giving the kicks an understated look ripe with intrigue. There is no word on an official release as of yet, but these are a limited edition Quickstrike, so start calling in your sneaker connects if you’d like to rock these this summer.
