The Nike foamposite material and subsequent line of sneakers has developed a cult following since its inception. Specifically demographics in the DMV and NYC go absolutely insane for each and every foamposite release, and the Nike Air Foamposite Pro “Retro” appears to be no outlier. DC-based rapper and sneaker impresario Wale publicly debuted these kicks a few weeks ago as he has a proclivity for new foams. Conjecture and hyperbole ensured after their debut, but now we’ve got a locked down release date of July 1. The Nike Foamposite Pro “Retro” sports an icy sole which follows suit with all recently released foams and a lime-green base layer that extends to the swoosh and tongue. This release will be limited to select retailers, so start calling in your connects and saving the requisite 200 bones to get your hands and paws on these foams.
