Jada Pinkett-Smith’s HawthoRNe Season 3 Premiere
Last night in New York City, bloggers, journalists and editors gathered at the lavish Trump SoHo Hotel in Manhattan to screen the kickoff of HawthoRNe season 3, Jada Pinkett-Smith‘s dramatic TNT series. Hosted by Overbrook Entertainment, TNT, JustJared.com and 135th St Agency, the event was a complete success, with food, drinks, laughter and even a few tears, thanks to the intense drama featured on the first episode.
If you’re a fan of the show, then you know it opens with a beautiful wedding as Tom (played by Michael Vartan) and Christina (Pinkett-Smith) finally get their sh*t together and make things official. The wedding is pure bliss for Christina, but it doesn’t take long before things go awry and various characters go through extreme highs and lows in the course of 24 hours.
Joining the cast this season is Marc Anthony (who guest-starred previously on the series), Derek Luke and Lauren Velez. Thankfully, Vanessa Bell-Calloway is back as Christina Hawthorne’s on-the-job frienemy Gail, but some things have changed for her. There are some characters missing in the first episode too, so hopefully as the season pans out to answer some questions for us.
HawthoRNe returns at 10pm EST tonight on TNT.
Watch Jada on The View as she discusses HawthoRNe, her marriage to Will Smith and more:

Is getting the character name right too much to ask?
CHRISTINA not CYNTHIA.
Just sayin.
You’re so right John! That’s what I get for writing too late at night… fixing asap!!
You know, I bet the guy who attacked Christina is the doctor with the accent – the one dating Bobbie. I am almost certain its him.
i love it keep up the good work
I loved Hawthorne. It has gone so fast no time to enjoy marital bliss nothing. Into the third episode he ready to divorce don’t you think that is quick or are you guys leaning towards some public opinion about her being married to a white man. Which I think is ridculous it was the whole beauty of it all the races coming together and doing well. So sad for so much change I hope everything settles down a little bit so we can just enjoy it again.
