Joe Budden Rocks The Nike LeBron 8 “South Beach”
When LeBron James uttered the infamous phrase that he’d be “taking his talents to South Beach” last summer, the world watched aghast. An announcement and free agent signing decision had never been given this sort of media hype, and you can bet the boys from Beaverton had their eyes and ears open. Instead of fighting the stigma newly associated with their marquee athlete, Nike embraced the infamous words and crafted a limited edition of the Nike LeBron 8 dubbed “South Beach.” Taking cues from the late 80s and Miami Vice, the kick is adorned with an aqua base off set by hot pink accents which extend to the laces. Ultimately, LeBron transporting his talents to South Beach didn’t result in a chip for the Miami Heat, but that didn’t seem to bother Jumpoff Joe Budden as he sported the ornate colorway of the Nike LeBron 8 recently in NYC.
