Kris Humphries Stands By Kim Kardashian In Wake Of Bret Lockett Cheating Scandal

Last week, attention loving Kim Kardashian found herself attracting the kind of attention that even she doesn’t love when In Touch Weekly exposed an alleged “secret fling” between the celebrity socialite and NFL baller, Bret Lockett. According to the cover story that ran in the gossip rag, Kimmy and Bret engaged in a “graphic phone sex session” and exchanged “flirty texts” over a period of time. Reportedly, the “fling” continued even after the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star embarked on a relationship with her now fiancé, Kris Humphries. In the days since the scandal broke, speculation ran rampant about the fate of Kimmy’s impending nuptials with Kris, but apparently, the duo’s relationship has been unaffected by the cheating scandal. An insider told Popeater:

“Kris knows none of it is true. He trusts and loves Kim. That’s not to say he doesn’t want to protect his future wife from fools talking sh*t about her, he knows fighting back will just give this guy more press attention.”

I understand Kris standing by his woman, but dude has only known Kimmy for about seven months, so I’m thinking these allegations warrant at least a closed door conversation. Let’s hope he’s not being a sucker for love, or a sucker, period.
