Former Death Row CEO Suge Knight is finally getting the chance to pose for something else besides a mug shot. In the coming weeks, the fallen hip-hop mogul will pose for an anti-dog chaining ad for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). In a statement sent to XXLMag.com, Suge said:

“Dogs deserve our love and attention not a life of ‘solitary confinement’ at the end of a chain. Dogs depend on us to take care of them, to keep them safe and healthy. Chaining a dog is one of the cruelest things you can do to them—they are social animals.”

Said the man who built a music empire that thrived off of intimidation and fear (and allegedly, physical assault). I know they’re trying to change his image and all, but Suge Knight in a PETA ad??? That’s about as believable as Anthony Weiner‘s “I was hacked” excuse.
