Blake Griffin Unveils Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011
The Nike laundry list of signed talent reads pretty much like the second coming of the NBA Dream Team. Dudes like Dirk Nowitzki, LeBron James, Kobe Bryant and Chris Paul are just a few athletes signed under the Nike umbrella. One of, if not the most intriguing however is a guy who just fnished his “rookie” campaign with L.A.’s other team. Why did Nike choose Blake Griffin to unveil their most technologically advanced kick to date? You guessed it, the incredible highlight reel of dunks he rattled off and veteran grown man stats of 23 and 12. Blake superseded all expectations and Nike is set to channel that raw talent and unbridled jumping ability into the Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011.
Just so you’re clear, donning the Hyperdunk won’t take you from grazing the net to dunking over Timofey Mozgov, but it is an extremely handsome basketball kick with unprecedented technical features. The kick is covered in extremely lightweight, patented flywire material and sports a glass-galvanized midfoot plate to keep your ankles right where they should be. If the technical specs don’t impress you, just take a look at the becoming silhouette and know that while you may not jump like Blake, you’ll look good hoisting up jumpers in your mens’ league. Check for the Hyperdunk to release later this summer.
