What’s Hot Now: Men’s Colored Pants, Alexander McQueen & Victoria Spruce’s Killer Heels

What’s hot right now? We’ve picked three new things this week:

1. Alexander McQueen’s Spring/Summer 2012 Men’s Collection

Designer Sarah Burton keeps the late great Alexander McQueen’s legacy going with her third menswear collection for the label. The collection has a fresh take on British rock n’ roll style, featuring the new popular trend of wide, slouchy pants, relaxed tailoring, bold prints and McQueen’s signature moody feel.

2. Victoria Spruce Footwear

Victoria Spruce just graduated with an MA in footwear from the Royal College of Arts in the UK. The budding designer took inspiration from modern architecture and sculpture when she designed her unique graduate collection, and she is now hoping to land a job with a high fashion label. As you can see from the images here, this young lady is one to keep an eye on in the footwear game.

3. Colored Pants On Men

Many men shy away from trends in bottoms, such as the new shorter shorts, skinny jeans and colored denim. There is nothing to be afraid of in the latter category, gentlemen. Everyone from Lil Wayne to Chris Brown and Kanye West have confidently rocked brightly colored jeans and chinos. If you’re not up for the more extreme looks, like Jil Sander‘s trendy color-blocked outfit below, pair your colored pants with a plain white tee and clean kicks for an easy breezy summer look.
