What’s The Deal With Doug Hutchison’s Child Bride, Courtney Alexis Stodden?
As you may (or may not) know by now, Courtney Alexis Stodden, an unknown 16-year old student, beauty pageant contestant and aspiring country singer from Washington State married actor Doug Hutchison, 51, who’s best known for his roles in The Green Mile and ABC’s Lost. I always think of him as the creepy actor and in this case, art is clearly imitating life.
I’ve been saying WTF since this story dropped. I’m not convinced the details of this union are as they’re being told. She’s a virgin, she’s a good Christian girl, she loves her new old man (who is four years older than her father, BTW), blah, blah, blah. I can’t fathom why a teenager would marry a man who is a little over a decade away from claiming social security or why her parents would agree to let their underage daughter get married in the first place. The only way I can make sense of this is to believe there must have been a payoff somewhere along the way. Conspiracy theory, I know, but do you have a better explanation? And don’t say it’s love because love at 16 is often unfulfilling and hardly sustaining. Someone should have grounded this kid, made her wash her face and banned her from wearing makeup, heels and push-up bras for at least a month.
I’m pretty sure the jokes on us and we’ll all soon learn that Courtney is actually a 32-year-old ex-stripper/divorcee from East Backwoods, Who Cares who went along with this charade for a large sum of money that she plans on using to get Air Jordans for her kids and breast implants for her herself. This skank is obviously not 16 maybe her daughter is but she looks closer to 40. Oh and the part about buying implants? Looks like that ship has sailed. Goodness this woman is a gross mess and her song is awful!

Yeah, this has to be some sort of publicity stunt…she does not look like a 16-year-old who dresses/appears “too old for her age”- you know, like a 16-year-old who could pass for 21. And I’m not saying she’s unattractive, though she does have that whole uber-fake thing going on which is not very appealing, but she’s not ugly or anything- I mean she DOES NOT look 16, just in terms of her facial features! I would guess maybe 28-30? A hard-drinking 25 at least…i have to stress again this is not dissing her looks by saying she looks “old” (as if 30 was old), it’s just not what a healthy 16-year-old should look like. If she really is 16, she needs to see a doctor!

I can’t even blame Doug Hutchison. But, Doug, you SHOULD have known better than to pick up a high school girl.
This falls squarely on her parents. Values, morals, standards, lifestyle, how THEY raised her. Obviously, they were not good managers of her ‘career’ or modeling career. No guidance, setting limits. They let her do what she wanted.
If she was 16yro when she married him {and a minor}, they allowed it.
Makeup and implants can easily transform a 16yo to 30yr.
Aspiring singer? She’s aweful. She needs someone with Hollywood connections she could ride coat-tails.
Model? She’s not even pretty. She looks like the typical teenage mall rat. Nothing tasteful or classy about her pictures thrusting her chest out.
Her parents? The worse parents ever. What good responsible {or even Christian} parents would sanction this marriage? Or even allow their minor to dress or look like a 30yo tart? This trainwreck is going ala Lindsay Lohan or Leann Rimes.
I’m sure the sex is good. But what happens after the ‘honeymoon’ period is over the first year. What else is she going to talk about besides the dogs, getting her nails done, hair colored, shopping, or how her breasts are real in her Valley Girl voice. I’m sure he’ll want some intelligent and stimulating conversation at some point. She doesn’t seem like the book-reading type.
She’ll either cheat on him when she’s grows up more / sees someone younger. Or when he realizes she’s a golddigger wanting her 15-minutes of fame.
Either way, her parents are disgusting people. You can blame her when she’s actually of legal age. You might be the nicest guy {and older than her father}, but, Doug, you SHOULD have know better.
There is only one picture there where she looks 16, and her breasts are WAY smaller than in the other pictures. It doesn’t even look like the same person. Birth certificate or no, there is no way this woman is 16. 40 is more like it.
