It’s A Wrap For The Cast Of Jersey Shore
According to reports, your favorite guidos and guidettes have received their marching orders from the cult classic show, Jersey Shore.
MTV plans to recast the now infamous reality series after the original crew films one final season in Seaside Heights, NJ this summer (the upcoming season in Florence, Italy is set to air on Thursday, August 4). The cast’s high salaries and outside commitments were cited by an Us Weekly insider as reasons to move on with a new group. The new cast will be “a lot cheaper,” the source says, but that the current stars “will leave on a high note.”
Fan favorites Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Paul “Pauly D” Delvecchio, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola and Vinnie Guadagnino are currently being paid a reported $100,000 per episode. MTV’s now planning to debut an entire new cast after the original group’s salary demands, egos and extracurricular activities combined to push them out of favor.
