Kick Pick Of The Week: Nike Lunar Air 180 Black/Alarming Red/Blue Spark

The Kick Pick of this week comes in the form of an updated version of a celebrated Nike Running classic. Originally released in 1991, the Nike Air 180 was an extremely innovative silhouette which featured a low profile design paired with an extremely svelte constitution, and was one of the first sneakers ever to sport a visible air unit at the heel. What’s changed since 1991, let us explain. The fore-foot of the sole has been updated with Nike LunarLon technology which is one of the lightest materials available in the Nike Design Kitchen. Other updates include a mesh Nike Torch technological coating of the upper to achieve an even lighter weight for this already barely there runner. The trump card however that promoted this sneak to pick of the week is the updated colorway which comes in predominantly black with subtle highlights of Alarming Red and Blue Spark. The real conundrum of this kick is not weather to cop or not, it’s weather to run in them as they were designed for or keep them as crispy casual kicks. Ultimately the choice is yours, but the kicks are rumored to be a UK exclusive, so start calling your chaps across the pond to secure your pair of Lunar Air 180s.
