When 4th of July rears its sunny head, a few American staples come to mind—barbeque, watermelon and sloppy burgers are usually front-runners. As you kick back and enjoy the holiday and take in the other awesome American pastime of fireworks, have a look at a couple of tasty and tantalizing BBQ-inspired kicks from Vans. Vans come through just in time for the holiday with a burger-, watermelon- and sprinkles-inspired versions of the cult classic Authentic and Slip-on. Enthusiasts may recall when the watermelon pack debuted a few years ago and now they’re back with a couple of appetizing compadres.

The burger slip-on comes complete with a sesame-seed forefoot and heel tab with a dripping burger with all the accouterments at the mid-foot. The theme extends down to the mid-sole with a ketchup graphic dripping down the side. The other newcomer to the pack is the besprinkled cupcake Authentic which sports a base-layer and everyones favorite confetti-sprinkle graphics all over the kick. The look is given extra pop with a light blue layer of foxing around the mid-sole. No fourth of July BBQ is complete without a ripe, fresh, watermelon. While this isn’t the first go around for the Vans Watermelon aesthetic, it will most certainly be one of the more well-received sneaks in the pack. As you may have been abled to discern from the pics, the only caveat with the Barbeque Pack is it will only be available in kids sizes. So get your grill on and lace your little ones in fresh Vans heat this 4th.
