Console War: “PlayStation 4″ In Stores 2012
Like cars, a new model pops out every five years or so. It’s about time consumers are sucked into the brand once again. So, rumor has it PlayStation 4 will be due sometime next year in 2012.
Hopefully, it’s not a race to combat in the console war, but more so to provide a solid finished product. Bear in mind, Sony has revealed the new PlayStation 3D HDTV (pretty much an iMac for Sony gaming) and PlayStation Vita (replacement for PSP) last month at the E3 Expo. I’m skeptical but hopeful they can pull off three huge projects all at once.
Sony has been working on a PlayStation 4 to capitalize on the wave of technology when 3D television became available to the public. I’m not saying it’s geared towards 3D gaming, but I can’t find a reason why it wouldn’t. It’s a promising strategy and I’ve seen the possibilities at Sony’s Killzone 3 demo at E3 2011. It had full PlayStation Move and 3D capabilities that put PlayStation 1 up over Xbox 360 & Wii.
PS Move is a bit behind Microsoft’s Kinect motion sensor technology, however it doesn’t mean Sony sucks. Eye Toy + PS Move are small stepping stones to greatness. I’m excited to see what PS4 has in store for us—3D capabilities and improved Kinect-style motion control (fingers crossed for Sony’s sake).
Unlike celebrity rumors, now we just wait for the actual release date and reviews.

Lmao @ “PS Move is a bit behind Microsoft’s Kinect motion sensor technology” clearly the other way around, Kinect is an improved Eye-Toy and PS MOVE is an improved Wii
Last time I checked Motion Capture is better than Body-Capture because with Motion (PS Move) you can have 3D capturing and it’s more precise than the Kinect also not forgetting it has buttons to allow MORE CONTROL which the Kinect simply lacks off.
I could be a PS fan boy or a MS fan boy but what I have said above are facts, so it doesn’t matter what fan boy I am.
This is all rumors. I highly doubt the PS4 will come out before 2015… Anyway those pictures posted are terrible. The one on the top right looks like a toaster from dinosaur times..
